Will I pay tax for my service?
Tax will be applied to your appointment if you reside in a state or locality that mandates sales tax on services. Currently, Glamsquad charges tax only in New York City, where a 4.5% tax rate applies to our services. This tax is calculated based on the total cost of your appointment, including any add-ons or gratuity if applicable.
If you are booking from outside New York, you will not be charged sales tax at this time. However, tax regulations can vary by state and municipality, and we monitor these changes closely to ensure compliance.
