How do I prepare for a makeup service?

Updated over 3 months ago

To get the best results from your appointment, we recommend starting with a clean, moisturized face. Please arrive makeup-free so your artist has a fresh canvas to work with. If you have specific skincare products you love (like your favorite moisturizer or primer), you’re welcome to apply them beforehand or share them with your artist.

It’s also helpful to prepare a comfortable, well-lit space for your appointment. A chair and table or counter space where the artist can set up their kit works best. While your artist brings all the tools and products needed, good lighting and a steady surface will make the experience smoother and ensure flawless results.

If you have a look in mind, gather a few inspiration photos to show your artist. Whether you’re going for natural, everyday beauty or a full-glam evening look, visuals help communicate your style. Don’t forget to mention any allergies, skin sensitivities, or product preferences (such as fragrance-free, vegan, or cruelty-free).

For big occasions — especially weddings or milestone events — we strongly recommend booking a trial session in advance. This allows you and your artist to fine-tune your look, test product longevity, and ensure you feel 100% confident on the day of.
