What is included in a spa pedicure?

Updated over 3 months ago

A spa pedicure typically takes about 75 minutes. This allows ample time for soaking, exfoliation, nail and cuticle care, massage, moisturizing, and polish application. A spa pedicure typically includes several steps designed to relax, refresh, and beautify your feet:

  1. Soaking: Your feet are soaked in warm, often scented, water to soften skin and relax muscles.

  2. Exfoliation: Dead skin cells are gently removed using a scrub or pumice stone, focusing on rough areas like heels and soles.

  3. Nail Care: Nails are trimmed, shaped, and buffed to smooth edges and create a polished look.

  4. Cuticle Care: Cuticles are softened, pushed back, and gently trimmed if needed.

  5. Massage: A relaxing foot and lower-leg massage is performed, often using hydrating lotions or oils.

  6. Moisturizing: Hydrating creams or oils are applied to keep skin soft and nourished.

  7. Polish (Optional): Your nails can be painted with your choice of polish or left natural. Many spas offer gel polish options as well.
